Between the Lakes  Blues Festival

Join Rose Center for a day of Blues, blooms, and brews at Between the Lakes Blues Festival, May 30, 12:00-6:00PM. The outdoor festival will feature Blues musicians, craft brews poured by 1907 Brewing Co, local handmade items, food vendors, and kids' activities.

 

New this year, an After Party will start at 7:30pm in Rose Center's Prater Hall. Billy Crawford & the Lowdown will start it off, and musicians from the other bands will join in the rest of the evening. 

 

No outside food or drinks allowed. 

Some seating will be available. Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged.

Lakeway Transit will run a shuttle service from the downtown parking lots all day.

Special note: Blues Between the Lakes Festival is the brainchild of Dan Nivinski of Grainger County ,TN and renowned Chicago Blues musician Wayne Baker Brooks. Working with the Smokey Mountian Blues Society ,they brought the event Rose Center in 2024. 

 

Vendor Spaces are available for artisans specializing in handmade products, including fine arts, crafts, jewelry , home décor, garden-related products, spring crops or plants , and specialty  goods. Interested vendors are encouraged to apply early, as spaces are limited. 

The festival kicks off at 12:00 P.M with blues performances curated by the Smoky  Mountain Blues Society brought the event to Rose Center. This year’s line up is stacked with regional and international artists starting with Blue Monday, Few Miles On , Piper, and the Hard Times, and  Wayne Baker Brooks.

This Marks the third annual festival hosted by Rose Center, continuing the vision established in 2021 by Dan Nivinski of Grainger County and renowned Chicago blues musician Waynne Baker Brooks.

Rose Center is a non-profit organization and a Designated Agency of the Tennessee Arts Commission (TAC). The Center is located at 442 W. Second North St. in Morristown, TN. Rose Center receives major financial support from TAC and manages the Arts Builds Communities granting program, a program funded by the Tennessee General Assembly, for the seven-county Lakeway area.
